James Sutherland has over 18 years' experience as a lawyer. He is a former Crown Prosecutor who has defended people charged with criminal offences for over 10 years. He has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Sutherland is also an Adjunct Professor of Law teaching trial advocacy at the University of British Columbia.
Mr. Sutherland has been a guest lecturer in the areas of criminal law and trial advocacy in various forums including the British Columbia Professional Legal Training Course.
Mr. Sutherland is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Criminal Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association, and the Vancouver Bar Association.

Mark Bussanich has practiced as a criminal lawyer since he was called to the bar. He has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia and he has worked as an ad hoc prosecutor. His practice includes some administrative law related to driving offences.
While in law school, he participated in the Law Students Legal Advice Program and the Criminal Clinic Program, both of which allowed him to gain early trial experience. He worked as a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of British Columbia performing research for five judges.
Mr. Bussanich has volunteered as an examiner for the Law Society of British Columbia's Professional Legal Training Course. He also volunteers as a supervising lawyer for the Law Students Legal Advice Clinic. He has lectured other lawyers on the nature and use of criminal record checks. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Criminal Law Subsection of its B.C. Branch.

Scott Wright was the recipient of the prestigious University of Manitoba, Faculty of Law, Archie Dewar Advocacy Award in 2005. Mr. Wright's legal experience has extended from working on the Air India Task Force to assisting some of the top criminal lawyers in British Columbia with their cases. Since his call to the British Columbia Bar in 2007, he has conducted trials and appeals. Mr. Wright is a member of the British Columbia Trial Lawyers Association, Canadian Bar Association, and Criminal Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association.
